ADA ACCESSIBILITY
BeachLife Festival is a fully accessible live music festival, and we are dedicated to continually improving our efforts to ensure you have access to all festival amenities. We welcome and encourage all feedback and suggestions from our patrons. The following explains the services provided this year. For any accessibility-related questions and/or needs please email info@thebeachlifefestival.com. We will do our best to help you have an awesome experience at BeachLife!
Accessible Viewing Areas
There will be accessible viewing areas made available to ADA patrons who may need to see above the crowd on the main stage and/or those who have mobility limitations. Visit any of the Information Booths near the festival entrances to gain access to these areas. Note that all viewing areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis and demand may exceed supply of seats. Plan to arrive early for popular acts.
ADA Pre-Registration
Please consider pre-registering for an ADA wristband to save time waiting in lines at the festival. You will also help us better prepare to ensure proper seating and access to other ADA facilities. To pre-register, please complete this form. We can then send you two ADA wristbands ahead of time, and it will be that much faster for you to enjoy the festival once you arrive. Please note: ADA deck seating is first-come, first-served and is not guaranteed.
ADA Registration at Festival
Wristbands for the ADA seating area are also available at the Main Info Booth near the festival entrance. If you qualify, a Staff member will give you two ADA wristbands — one for you and a companion.
Concessions
Concessions are fully accessible and located throughout the venue. If assistance is required, please confer with a festival staff member.
First Aid
We have a centrally located First Aid Booth near the main merch booth, that is noted on the festival map. Professional medical staff can help you with your medical needs at these locations.
ADA Parking
BeachLife Festival does NOT have control of Redondo Beach-owned parking lots. Inside of each city-owned parking lot adjacent to the festival grounds, there are a limited amount of ADA parking spaces available. To park in one of these lots, please bring your valid disabled persons parking permit, placard, or plate. Please note that it is against the law to park in an accessible parking space without the required ADA credentials or to fraudulently use someone else’s in order to gain access to ADA parking spots. All placards will be checked for validity by the Redondo Beach Police Department upon arrival.
Accessible Restrooms
Accessible Restrooms will be available throughout the venue and will be located at all restroom banks. Maps will be available in the Information Booth to show these locations.
Service Animals
Persons with disabilities and their service dogs or animals that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for those persons with disabilities are welcome at BeachLife Festival, as are those training service animals. Pets are not allowed and will be turned away. Due to large-scale animal service fraud, and for the protection of all festival patrons, service animals must be screened and registered at the Information Booth immediately upon entry to the site. Please contact us at info@thebeachlifefestival.com for protocol regarding service animals.
Any service animal whose task is to provide protection, emotional support, well-being, comfort, or companionship is not considered a service animal and will not be allowed into the venue. All service animals must remain by the handler’s side at all times and must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls. Care of the service animal is the sole responsibility of the owner, including clean up, and any damage caused. Anyone bringing an animal will be responsible for and liable for any damage or injury caused by the animal.
In continually striving to make our festival more accessible for everyone, we encourage you to contact us at info@thebeachlifefestival.com for any of your accessibility-related needs. Additionally, if you have any questions about policies or our services, please reach out to us.
BAG POLICY
PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR BAG POLICY FROM 2019, 2021 AND 2022 HAS CHANGED!!! WE NOW REQUIRE CLEAR BAGS
Bags must be made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and must not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.” You may also bring a clear, resealable, 1-gallon plastic storage bag , standard size fanny pack, or non-clear small clutch bags that don’t exceed 6” x 8.”
On a case-by-case basis, security may make exceptions to the Clear Bag Policy for parents of babies/toddlers with diaper bags, breastfeeding mothers, and those with documented medical needs.
CASHLESS TRANSACTIONS
BeachLife Festival is cashless — our Food, Beverage, and Merchandise vendors will NOT be accepting cash. Quicker service, safer transactions, and reducing the risk of transmission are all factors that have contributed to this decision. BeachLife accepts US-issued and most internationally-issued magstripe or chip cards bearing a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, or UnionPay logo. BeachLife also accepts mobile wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
COVID POLICY FOR MAY 2023
At this time, in accordance with current CA State Guidelines and Los Angeles County health guidelines, BeachLife will NOT be requiring vaccination or COVID testing verification or masking for the festival in May 2023.
However, this event shall run in accordance with applicable public health conditions as of the date of the event, which may change at any time, as determined by federal, state or local government agencies or by artists or by the promoter. Such requirements may include, without limitation, capacity changes, attendance procedures, entry requirements or other measures. If a guest does not comply with any laws, mandates, health orders or event terms, conditions or rules set forth by BeachLIfe, then BeachLIfe may refuse that guest admission to the event, or require said guest to leave the festival without a refund.
The State of California strongly recommends all festival attendees get fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test before entering the festival, and to wear masks if they feel they are at risk of becoming seriously ill from COVID-19.
COVID-19 SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. There is an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to Covid-19 in any public place where other people are present and there is no guarantee, express or implied, that those attending the festival will not be exposed to Covid-19. By entering the festival, all attendees agree to follow all festival policies (including health and safety policies) and posted instructions while attending the festival. According to the CDC, older adults and people of all ages with serious underlying medical conditions may be at a higher risk of death or severe illness from Covid-19. Thus, all attendees should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend the festival. By entering the festival, all attendees are voluntarily assuming all risks related to exposure to Covid-19 and voluntarily waive all claims and potential claims against BeachLife Festival, LLC and their affiliated companies relating to such risks. Attendees also confirm that they will adhere to local mandates and CDC requirements available HERE.
