HighTide Stage
The centerpiece of BeachLife Festival, the HighTide Stage is where some of the biggest names in music take the stage against the unmistakable backdrop of the Redondo Beach waterfront. It’s home to the festival’s largest performances, bringing thousands of fans together for those unforgettable, sing-it-at-the-top-of-your-lungs BeachLife moments.
Over the years, HighTide has welcomed artists including Weezer, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Offspring, Steve Miller Band, Sugar Ray, Local Natives, and Duran Duran. From legendary headliners to longtime BeachLife favorites, this is the stage where the festival goes big.
LowTide Stage
Set right on the sand, the LowTide Stage captures what BeachLife is all about—great music, ocean air, and a crowd that’s ready for a good time. With an eclectic mix of rock, reggae, indie, soul, and more throughout the weekend, LowTide has the energy of a major festival stage while still feeling distinctly Southern California.
Past LowTide performers have included 311, Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr., Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Steel Pulse, DEVO, and Dirty Heads. Whether you’re discovering a new favorite or catching an artist you’ve loved for years, LowTide is a perfect place to plant your feet in the sand and stay awhile.
RipTide Stage
The RipTide Stage brings you closer to the music. Smaller and more intimate than BeachLife’s main stages, it’s a place to discover emerging artists, local talent, and eclectic acts in a setting where the connection between the performers and the crowd feels immediate.
RipTide has featured artists including Phantom Planet, The Aggrolites, The Calamatix, The Schizophonics, and Grace McKagan, alongside plenty of up-and-coming artists worth arriving early to see. It’s one of the best places at BeachLife to wander over without knowing who’s playing—and leave with a new favorite.
Speakeasy Stage
Our one-of-a-kind Speakeasy Stage has featured performances by Mike Watt (Minutemen, Dos), Milo Aukerman (Descendents), Jim Lindberg (Pennywlse), Jen Pop (The Bombpops), Zander Schloss (Circle Jerks), Trevor Keith (Face to Face), Jason DeVore (Authority Zero), Water Tower, Donovan Frankenreiter, and many, many more.
The Speakeasy Stage was developed by BeachLife Creative Director Jim Lindberg. Lindberg, a pioneer of the West Coast punk scene as frontman for Hermosa Beach-based group Pennywise, and conceptualized Speakeasy to integrate some of LA's hardcore spirit within the easygoing nature of a costal beach festival.
